Exam Results 2024
2024 saw some of the best results achieved by students at The Beacon, with the majority of figures improved from the 2023 results.
Maths and English continued to have positive results and were above national averages for both 4+ and 5+. Another particular area of strength was Art with over 50% of students achieving a grade 7 or above. Textiles, Film and Drama also showed some of the best results with positive progress 8 measures.
"We are very proud of all our Year 11 students who received their GCSE results this summer. There were so many individual and collective achievements to celebrate, and we are so pleased that the students have been able to achieve such brilliant results - the highest set of grades in the school’s history!"
Headteacher Mr J Grant Duff
