Drama Curriculum Intent:
- To strive for excellence and ignite a passion for Drama and Theatre through a challenging, current and creative curriculum that is accessible to all.
- For students to become literate learners through oracy and precise written analysis and evaluation. To develop skills in collaboration and independence.
- Nurturing students to enable them to demonstrate empathy and respect as performers, designers, directors and audience members, learning to justify and contextualise their ideas and opinions ensuring an inclusive classroom environment built on mutual respect.
- To prepare learners for their next steps, equipping them with the knowledge and curiosity for their academic and employment next steps. To inspire students to enter the creative industries as well as equip them with transferable skills suitable for any career path.
