Dance Curriculum Intent:
For good results to be achieved through a diverse and broad curriculum. Using independent study skills and collaboration, students will create risk taking performances to challenge their skill set. They will be encouraged to critically analyse and learn to challenge their intuition. Students will feel confident and safe in a stimulating learning environment allowing them to explore dance creatively.
Students will be nurtured to enable them to demonstrate empathy and respect as performers, enabling students to build resilience. They will respond to feedback in a positive way to enhance performance and understand the importance of their peers’ viewpoints.
